It features procedurally generated gameplay where each time your character dies and a new one is awakened by IRIS, the ship's layout changes. This dynamic element ensures that every life is a unique experience with different enemies, items, and power-ups to encounter.
Survival in "The Persistence" demands stealth gameplay, and the VR integration enhances this aspect. Players can sneak around, hide behind cover, and use VR mechanics like leaning and peeking to gain advantages. Additionally, friends can join in by connecting their phones or tablets to hack into the ship's computer, controlling doors, enemies, traps, and scavenging for hidden items. Trust becomes a key element as the tablet player can be rewarded upon the VR player's demise.
